It's A Disgrace To Be In Last Place In Education
Robert from Morgantown, WV writes:

I just transfered to West Virginina University from University of South Carolina. I can honestly say that SAT test scores don't tell the whole story of the average South Carolina student.

SC may be last in test scores but compared to intelligence, common sense and overall manners, they blow away West Virginia.

Their is a reason that when West Virginia broke off, Virginia didn't care!!!! I guess 70 years of Democratic Party rule will do that to a state.

"This is pitiful! Does it stand to reason that having more people take the SAT will bring the test scores down?"

Yes it does Jimmy. This is common sense. If only the best students are taking the SAT then the average is higher. When the scores are averaged across a larger spectrum of students, the average will go down. You can see this throughout the various states. The states with the smallest number of students taking the SAT have the better average. Here in SC, the students who take college prep courses, averaged 1053, which is 27 points higher than the national average. If a state is only measuring this types of students, which many are, then of course the average is higher.

BTW, didn't you receive a form letter from Inez telling you, that despite having a Master's degree, you were not qualified to teach in South Carolina? Is that the real motivation for your attacks? Is this attack similiar to the ones you made on Senator Hawkins when he refused to give you a job?
