Christian Exodus Supports City Council of Great Falls, SC
PRESS RELEASE
August 29, 2005
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Spartanburg, S.C., August 25, 2005 --
ChristianExodus.org fully supports the people and Council of Great Falls, South Carolina concerning their fight for freedom of religious expression.
Christian Exodus State Coordinator, Frank Janoski, stated, "There is no such thing as a freedom to silence religious speech in either the private or public sector. On the contrary, all religious speech is expressly protected by the 1st Amendment."
Mr. Janoski went on to say, "Once again the feds have violated the right of free religious expression protected by our own 1st Amendment. This is the tyranny we've come to expect from the federal government whose courts continually issue rulings violating the clear verbiage of the U.S. Constitution. The council members of Great Falls must continue to pray in Jesus name and defy this tyranny of the federal judiciary just as Judge Roy Moore did in Alabama."
Christian Exodus expects the city council to disregard the illegal ruling attempting to silence them and to continue to pray in Jesus name just as the Apostles said in Acts 5:29, "We must obey God rather than men."
Christian Exodus (www.christianexodus.org) was formed in 2004 and believes the nation should return to the constitutionally limited form of government created by our Founding Fathers. They are relocating thousands of Christians to reinforce the conservative beliefs of the citizens of South Carolina, and in so doing, affect public elections in support of candidates who will obey the U.S. and South Carolina constitutions. Their success will bring about a return to constitutionally limited government as guaranteed by the 10th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.
