McMaster and Clyburn To Hold News Conference on Domestic Violence Grant
PRESS RELEASE
August 5, 2005

Columbia, S.C. August 5, 2005 - Attorney General Henry McMaster and U.S. Representative Jim Clyburn will hold a news conference on Monday August 8, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. in the Attorney Generalís Office located in the Rembert Dennis Building on the Statehouse Complex in Columbia.

They will announce a major award from the 2005 Rural Domestic Violence and Child Victimization Enforcement Grant Program.

Earlier this year, the Attorney Generalís Office partnered with the South Carolina Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault, the South Carolina Victimís Assistance Network and the South Carolina Baptist Convention in applying for this federal grant to place domestic violence prosecutors for magistrate and municipal courts in Chesterfield, Clarendon, Darlington, Dillon, Marion, Marlboro and Williamsburg counties.
