Gov. Sanford to Meet with BRAC Officials, Attend ICAR Announcement

Columbia, S.C. - June 27, 2005 - Gov. Mark Sanford will travel to Charlotte, North Carolina tomorrow (Tuesday, June 28, 2005) to meet with
representatives of the federal Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) Commission. Following this meeting, Gov. Sanford will pay a visit to Greenville to take part in an important announcement regarding the Upstate's International Center for Automotive Research (ICAR).
Gov. Sanford is scheduled to meet with members of the BRAC Commission
tomorrow at 3:15 p.m. in the Harris Conference Center of Central Piedmont Community College (3216 CPCC West Campus Drive, Charlotte). Following this meeting the governor will travel to Greenville to participate in the ICAR announcement, which is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. in the Gunter Theatre of the Peace Center (300 North Main Street, downtown Greenville).
