SANFORD, "IRON MAN" TO ANNOUNCE
NEW BASEBALL ACADEMY
Columbia, S.C. - June 9, 2005 - Gov. Mark Sanford will join baseball's "Iron Man," Cal Ripken, Jr., in Myrtle Beach tomorrow morning (Friday, June 10, 2005) to announce that the Grand Strand City has been selected as the location for a new Cal Ripken Baseball Academy. Tomorrow's announcement with the governor and the former Baltimore Orioles slugger will take place on the second floor of "The Attic," located at 812 North Ocean Boulevard (at Ninth Avenue) in Myrtle Beach at 10:30 a.m.
