An amendment for which I did not wish

Comfortable?, think again!

Matthew 13:
[49] So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,
[50] And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Luke 16:
[22] And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
[23] And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
[24] And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

Excellent point indeed. Law-making judges that are incapable of reading the plain words of the Constitutions (State and Federal) are the real problem.

"Dante wrote that the hottest places in hell were reserved for those who remained silent in a time of moral crisis."

It's nice to know that Massah Mikey and Haywood will be relatively comfortable throughout eternity.

Sadly Jonathan, we seldom if ever have political choices between unequivocally good and completely bad issues or candidates. And I reckon that fact turns off a lot of potential voters. It should not and it must not. We must do the best that we can to acquire the best candidates and to seek choices in issues. Voters must awaken and exert pressure on the candidates (and the elected)and the issues. And that is what this forum is about, isn't it.

Never underestimate the power of stupid voters in large numbers.

Dante wrote that the hottest places in hell were reserved for those who remained silent in a time of moral crisis.
