Levitt Corporation Expands Homebuilding Into South Carolina
PRESS RELEASE
January 24, 2006

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 23, 2006--Levitt Corporation (NYSE:LEV) announced today its subsidiary, Levitt and Sons(TM), has opened sales for its first active adult resort lifestyle community in South Carolina, 'Seasons' at Prince Creek West.

Located at Prince Creek West, just 20 minutes south of Myrtle Beach in beautiful Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, 'Seasons' is designed with an emphasis on active living for those 55 and older. The country club-style community is situated on 213 acres and will comprise 460 single-family detached homes. Prince Creek, home to the Tournament Players Club Stadium Golf Course, offers golfing, fishing, hiking, biking and water sports and is located between the Waccamaw River and the Atlantic Ocean.

'Seasons' offers three series of homes that combine classic "low country" style architecture with contemporary comforts. Each series offers up to five floorplans ranging from 1,500 to 2,500 square feet with pre-construction prices from the low $200s.

'Seasons' has an extensive amenity package, which includes a grand clubhouse and sports complex with lighted tennis courts, bocce courts and oversized sidewalks for biking and walking; a spacious multipurpose ballroom with a stage and dance floor; an arts and crafts center with a pottery kiln; a spacious outdoor sundeck and pool; an indoor pool for swimming and water aerobics; billiards room; card rooms; and a modern fitness center with separate men's and women's spa areas. An onsite activities director continuously plans and designs new events and activities for residents.

"'Seasons' is truly a cruise ship on land," notes Alan B. Levan, Chairman and CEO, Levitt Corporation. "The future residents of 'Seasons' will enjoy the preserved natural setting and diverse recreational activities and social lifestyle of a resort or country club community without the typical expense associated with such developments."

Prince Creek is a master-planned community that has preserved the natural setting of the environment within its boundries and is located within close proximity to a wide variety of destinations such as Brookgreen Gardens, Waccamaw Community Hospital, the pristine beaches of Huntington State Park, Murrells Inlet fishing village and Veterans Pier, and an assortment of restaurants and shops.
