Dean Event Cancelled Due to Weather
PRESS RELEASE
June 29, 2005

June 29, 2005

News Release - For Immediate Release
Contact: Lachlan McIntosh (803) 799-7798

Due to numerous flight delays because of inclement weather in Philadelphia, tonight's South Carolina Democratic Party fundraiser with DNC Chairman Howard Dean has been cancelled.  Dean's flight was delayed until the point it was impossible for him to arrive in Columbia tonight.

"We are certainly disappointed but are thankful for his efforts. We all understand that when you're dealing with planes and weather these things
sometimes happen," said South Carolina Democratic Party Chairman Joe Erwin.

The South Carolina Democratic Party will offer refunds to all who have
purchased tickets.
