The only speech that needs protection is unpopular speech.
If the protestors aren't directly intruding into the ceremony and distrupting the service or procession, they have every right to speak.

It seems to me that we as the media already send the wrong message to our troops. We talk about how bad we are doing in Iraq, how wrong the war is and how are troops can't seem to get the job done. Then we sit back and complain about everything. I agree with Sanford, we haven't had the problem, why create a new one. |
