Let's just wait and see. You can have your opinion and I have mine. I'm willing to say you are wrong, but we'll have to just see what happens.

Put this headline in your pro-life scrap book: "Market Rallies with Bush Victory: Defense Stocks Rise." Actualy, I heard this announced in a news segment on WORD late today.
Why would defense stock's rise?

Let me back up...you are right. You folks should first try to codify your ideology before you negotiate. You folks did win the election.

However, changing the rules of the Senate as you reach further and further right will come to haunt conservatives. You will loosen the mechanism of expansion of government power, only to find out that "what goes around comes around."

Social issues...the fundamentalists' anti-gay fetish is curious; but its support for faith-based militarism is of much concern. Although I know Armageddon is not on Bush's agenda, I fear it is in the back of his mind. It is where all you folks believe these events are leading. The prospects for a self-fulfilling prophecy of this sort cause folks like myself more than a little anxiety.

so, enjoy your victory, because it will come at the expense of the peace of mind of about 48 percent of Americans and about 90% of the rest of the world.
