Come on in, the water's fine
Jonathan Pait
May 17, 2002

Yesterday during the discussion surrounding our Sanford Roast, the following post was submitted to the site. Mike from Greer – whom we know from past posts is none other that Mike Cubelo. Those of you who read the Greenville News on a regular basis know Mike well.
Forget about CommonVoice.com being called a "shill" for Bob Peeler or a "Sanford-Supporter." I'm waiting for a "Hodges Honorarium" editorial.

Since visiting CommonVoice.com, I basically see hair-splitting editorials about Republicans.

It's amusing how intense people can get about a few hairs out of place on the GOP scalp.

Well, I am glad to know a true Democrat is visiting the site. If I can find out something good to editorialize about Jim Hodges, I will.

However, it is actually another issue that comes up in this post that strikes a cord with me. It is true that CommonVoice.com has evolved into a “Republican Web site.” That is unfortunate.

So, here is a call to all Democrats to jump into the pool and feed the discussions. Mike, if you are reading this, I would love for you to get some of your friends to send along to me some articles on issues that are dear to them. It would be great to have some of the Democrat leadership have a voice here. Hey, that is the whole purpose behind Common Voice.

There is enough room in this pool for everyone.
