Gas Station Sign Makes A Statement With A Mistake
Jimmy Moore
May 28, 2006
This was just TOO FUNNY not to tell you about!
With all the public outrage over gasoline prices in the United States right now, the following marketing sign that I saw while pumping gas for my car the other day at a Hot Spot store in downtown Spartanburg, SC is as ironic as anything I have ever seen:
Yep, Hot Spot is "helping reduce America's dependence on ... oil," but unfortunately there must have been a "foriegn" (LOL!) person who proofread the sign before it went out because the word is supposed to be spelled "foreign!" Oooops!
Hey, we may not be able to spell, gosh darnit, but we sure don't like that there "foriegn" oil! :D
